Pleiades Theatre
Proudly Presents a Public Workshop of
THE COVEN
by SHANICE PEREIRA
Follow a Guyanese-Canadian family through generations as they live with a curse that follows them from Guyana all the way to Canada. Thea is the first woman born to the family since the curse began. Can she break the curse? How did the curse start? Who cursed the family? How does the curse manifest?
The play explores generational trauma; how we can pass on our trauma's to our children and they then can pass it on to their children.
